Automation Engineer (m/f/d) Drive Technology
Location: Erkrath (near Düsseldorf)

Job Description:

  • You will use the Siemens TIA Portal for customer projects to design and develop control programs and drive controls.
  • You will competently expand and maintain program libraries and contribute to the profitable design of machine sequences and controls.
  • In this context, you will manage the worldwide commissioning of our systems and support our field service in project planning and design.
  • You will clarify technical issues with suppliers (such as control system manufacturers) and with other specialist departments. You will also ensure that technical tasks are carried out properly and prepare calculation documents.
  • In addition, you will actively participate in or carry out acceptance runs for our system suppliers.

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in electrical engineering, drive engineering or a comparable qualification

Job Description:

  • You coordinate our entire design process. In doing so, you will be in close contact with customers and support them with technical questions.
  • Creatively as well as competently, you help our customers to shape thermoplastics into the desired form. In doing so, you calculate and design special flat dies for plastic extrusion.
